• BISNOW: Multifamily Market Carries Over From Downtown

    How hot is the Chicago multifamily market away from the downtown core or the suburbs? We'll find out on the Far North Side. Kiser Group has been retained to sell two portfolios of apartments, totaling 329 units, in Rogers Park and Edgewater. 

     

     

    The Edgewater portfolio includes 109 units, a mix of studios and one- and two-bedroom units, at 6100 North Winthrop Ave, 6101 North Winthrop Ave and 6110 North Winthrop Ave (pictured). The apartments are a short walk from the Granville Red Line "L" station and are fully leased. Kiser Group's Lee Kiser, Luke Lesniewski and Michael Feldstein are marketing the buildings on behalf of the seller, B & R Developers.

     

    The Rogers Park apartments, totaling 220 studio, one- and two-bedroom units are at 1412 West Chase Ave, 6945 North Ashland Ave, 1257 West Lunt Ave and 1310 West Lunt Ave. Three of the four buildings have seen strong rent spreads. The fourth building is coming out of protracted litigation; all four assets are stabilized. Lee Kiser, Luke Lesniewski and Stevens Haen are marketing the buildings on behalf of the seller, Ansonia Properties.
